Welcome to the website for clinical psychologist and author, Dr. Kimeron Hardin, Ph.D., ABPP. He has been practicing in the fields of clinical and health psychology for over 34 years and has authored or co-authored numerous books, articles, book chapters and reviews. He was board certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology in Clinical Health Psychology in 2010, later also achieving fellowship status in the Academy of Clinical Health Psychology. He is the co-founder and past president of the American Association of Pain Psychology, the first organization in the US devoted to the advancement of the practice of pain psychology, one of the fastest growing subspecialties within health psychology.

He currently lives and works in the San Francisco Bay Area and he is best known for his work in pain management, stress reduction and wellness. He also specializes in LGBTQ issues.

Dr. Hardin is originally from North Carolina and he attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he majored in psychology. He then completed his Master's degree in Clinical Psychology at Western Carolina University in 1986 and his doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Southern Mississippi in 1990. He completed his internship in Medical Psychology at Duke University Medical Center.

Over the years, he has practiced in both hospital and other medical settings including as a clinical instructor at Wake Forest University Medical Center, as an assistant professor at the University of California at San Francisco/Mount Zion Pain Management Center, and currently, as a cognitive behavioral therapy course instructor for the Stanford Neuroscience and Pain Laboratory. He also has developed several multidisciplinary functional restoration programs for people living with pain across the country and currently is the clinical director for the Spine Pain and Rehabilitation Center (SPARCmed) program on the SF Bay Area peninsula.

He is also currently in private practice in Belmont, CA.
